N. King of the Blues is a tropical lily. It is a lily created by Perry D. Slocum. It's date of origin is 1955. It has deep violet blue star petals with yellowish green slightly blotched pads. It is a select seedling of N. capensis var. zanzibariensis. It readily produces seeds. As a selection of a species plant, the seedlings may be in various shades of pink or blue.
